Leif Meche Band (LayF Mesh) is a Rock/Blues/Soul artist based out of Lafayette, LA.  While rock is the bands main genre, their music channels the spirits of blues, and soul. The bands live performance showcases their raw talent, soulful vocals, expressive playing, songwriting, and creativity. Their unique sound and live performance captivate audiences leaving them wanting more.  A typical set list consists of original music, Classic Rock, 90's/00's Rock/Alt, Blues, and some Country.

Leif Meche Band is no stranger to the big stage, opening up for acts like Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Little Texas, Chris Cagle, Aaron Tippin, Frank Foster and many more. The band has performed on numerous stages throughout Louisiana, including International Rice Festival, Cajun Heartland State Fair, Red River Revel Festival,  Frog Festival, Abita Fall Fest, Independence Fan Festival, Texas Club, and Raising Canes River Center Theatre and more.

They are passionate about music and have influences ranging from all music genres, but their love for rock, blues, and soul is what shines out the most through their magnificent sound. They draw inspiration for their music from every aspect of life. Their ultimate goal is to ensure that the tradition and love of music continues in the next generation of musicians.
